GRC Developments – Lordsgate Lane

Project Overview

Lordsgate Lane is a residential development comprising seven private houses located at the edge of the historic market town of Burscough in Lancashire. The scheme was delivered as a small
multi-plot housing project, forming a compact residential addition within an established local setting.

The development was commissioned by GRC Developments as a private residential scheme, with a
focus on delivering consistent quality and coordination across all plots within a conventional housing
typology.

Project Context & Delivery

Lordsgate Lane was the first project delivered under the Openwall® name, marking a formative stage in the company’s establishment. As an inaugural scheme, the project provided an opportunity to define how Openwall would operate in practice across design coordination, manufacture, and site delivery.

Working closely with the architect and customer, Openwall aligned panel layouts with the site arrangement and construction sequence across all seven plots. This supported consistent installation and reliable integration with foundations and follow-on trades, establishing collaborative, flexible, and technically robust working methods that have since been applied on subsequent Openwall® residential projects.
